It is hard for the first few months after you leave, you are homesick terribly. You get over it once you start building relationships outside of the home you grew up in. Eventually, home becomes a place to visit. A fond place for memories that takes you away from the home you have built for yourself and your family.

Gotta go sometime, unless you plan on living with your parents until you are 45.
