Did you hear about the Morgans?

8/10

Were some funny parts, some good and yet some awful acting, could've been better, but enjoyable.

I dunno, i finished the film feeling pretty underwhelmed.

I didn't like the part where they made out the Brit special forces to be a total bunch of idiots, couldn't even change a tyre and apprently they carry a Barrett and they too spastic to even use it. But the bomb specialists can snipe like gods... ya know, like the Brit sniper got up there and got zero'd right away but the Yanks were sat up there for like a week and the enemy sniper didn't even get close.

They were part of a PMC. EOD are also taught how to use things like the Barrett.

I feel like I should probably expand on this. Basically, it was fucking awesome until about half way through the film, when you think

Yeah, the British guys in The Hurt Locker were PMCs, Mercs, operators, whatever you want to call them. It was fairly obvious, first they were using AKs instead of an L85 or something. Second they weren't wearing a uniforms, just the kelvar vests and some random clothing that was obviously not standard issue. Third, their truck was just a regular white truck. And fourth and most importantly, their leader said that they intended to collect a bounty on the prisoners, regular soldiers aren't given those kinds of bounties, they have standard pay and shit.

and the part the lawyer "kills" him I fucking raged. Other than those two elements good film. Especially when the Judge died. I think they should've had the judge killed first before the prosecutors know he was ex CIA

About Hurt Locker:

Well most SF troops never wear uniforms... But they do wear Kevlar I think and use enemy weapons at times. Yeah they were definitely PMC (even said so on Wiki). But I found it fucked how hajji can outshoot a fucking barret. I mean, come on. That scene was just a bit retarded imo... Should've had a large firefight instead.

Avatar 8.5/10

I don't care how much people whine about the dances with wolves plot and whatever, what I most in movies (and games) is immersion. And Avatar delivered that, I forgot I was watching a movie and I actually felt like I was on Pandora.

Quantum of Solace 7/10

It was extremely meh for a bond movie, the part before the intro was better than the rest of the movie IMO. As much as I loved Casino Royale, the new Daniel Craig Bond simply doesn't have some of the things we love about James Bond. Where are the gadgets? Where are the cheesy oneliners?
I feel as if Quantum is supposed to be the modern day SPECTRE, but it just doesn't seem as epic as SPECTRE was.

The Lovely Bones, 8.5/10.

Cliche storyline, too much computer animation, but good casting. A tear jerker at times, use of suspense is epic.
I'd recommend it anyone wanting a good suspense film.

Judge Dread

Star Wars?

IMO blade runner sucked. Maybe because I had to study it for English, maybe cause it was the directors cut or a combination of both... but I just found it boring.

Sherlock Holmes

The Sherlock Holmes character was a lot darker and edgier. Watson / Jude Law acting was good. Rachel McAdams was questionable but I rolled with it....everyone gots to work, rite. At times, I did not know what R.Downey said...i dunno it seemed he mumbled or too british???? any one agree or disagree with me. Overall the movie was decent.
