If you buy a 3 month card, can you keep your gamerscore and gamertag after you redeem the code on the card or do you have to restart?? You can close thread once I get an answer if anyone knows.. I couldn't find the answer anywhere so I came to this great gaming site forums.
As far as I know yes...you just link the code to the player account, making a live account.
So, I already have an xbox live account but when I get another card to redeem the code, I can still keep my gamerscore from my account now? I also have another question, how much memory does mw2 take up to install to your hdd, I'll probably be getting a 60 gig and I was wondering if thats enough.

I have another question. Lol sorry guys. I just keep em coming. I just bought MW2 for the xbox and I've noticed that a few people have been telling me it causes disk errors and the xbox can't read the disk, will installing the game to my HDD solve this problem?

Thanks, I just went up to walmart and bought the game myself, my girlfriend decided to only buy me the HDD lol Ohh well, she'll be getting it this weekend and I'll make sure to install mw2 to my HDD before I play it, I don't want it to get fucked up and I payed all that money for it. Thanks jenspm

on the ugly white one i had one RROD, which they fixed for free
and then the diskdrive decided to die, which they fixed for free
then i sold it and bought an elite.... which RROD 11 months later, which they fixed for free
no problems with this one in the 9 months i've had it lol
