Sup yall! I for the last couple of days have been playing on a server called Bloodbath. Some may know this from other posts. Anyway I use the M1A2 alot lately, going for the vet badge and metal(ways off) I dont know if these people suck at it or if its the chopper. I get into the M1 and go chopper hunting! I have killed more choppers with a M1 then anythang combined. When they shoot at me I wait untill my site it on the very top of hte propelers, shoot then they crash and burn! My tank gets little to now damnage to it unless I cant see em till half way damaged. Is it that the tanks ammor has increased a shit load?
The M1 is a chopper killer. Reason? It can aim higher than the other tanks. so you can USUALLY hit the chopper before it hits you.
too bad it takes 2 rounds and a hailstorm of machinegun fire to take one down=[4th]=SlayThem wrote:

Exactly. As long as I knew the M1A2 was around and not hiding on me, I have never ever been shot down by one in a head on fight.beeng wrote:

If you consider yourself a "tanker" you should be able to just move towards the chopper(resulting in him missing you, and just passing right by) and then hit him a 2nd time while he is turning around to swoop at you again.
Indeed; I do this all the time against inexperianced pilots... problem is there are ways to counter act the movement... like nosing down the chopper even more, or decreasing your speed.=[4th]=SlayThem wrote:

Yes, but that usually results in them crashing. which is fine with me.. as long as I'm not a victim in that crashbeeng wrote:

That's why i said experianced pilots are dangerous, because they don't crash when they use said tactics ;D=[4th]=SlayThem wrote:

Why exactly would they allow the M1A2 to aim higher and not give the t-90 and type98 any special "abilities"

because its ojnly a few degrees more? i duno, ive never looked at it... and it doesn really matter that much anyways, you're rarely in a situation where the higher you aim gives you an advantageCol-Khadafi wrote:

It might be a strafe of realism as communistic tanks where/are flat but lacked/lacks gun-elevation
right...
What about the TV guided? I hurd that was somehow different. I had a plane crashed into me and it took 3/4 of my tanks health away.
Type98 and T-90 have stronger armor than the M1A2.Col-Khadafi wrote:
