A Bottomless Pit, and other impossibilities.

So the phrase "He's got a stomach like a bottomless pit" can't apply, as there can be no such thing as a bottomless pit. If a pit didn't have a bottom, then it wouldn't be a pit right? It would be a ... tube?

Can you think of other examples of things like this?

So after it gets worse than it is, at a regular level it is then able to get better

It doesn't have to get worse than it is when it is worse than a regular level, that would make no sense
