btw don werent you one of the ONLY OSTENTATIOUS PRICKS BUY ANY FOOT-BASED ACCESSORY/ITEM OF CLOTHING FOR > $100 people?
i dont like what ive seen of the fashion-house trainers, tbh. for me footwear is about fashion and style, and the 'status' brands just offer bland, generic designs that are done better by more 'popular' brands. would rather buy some limited edition nike high-tops or some suede supras than some gucci flatties
btw snowboarding/ski'ing is awesome and shit but a) you need a mountain b) you need a helicopter/megaramp for big hucks. i prefer skates i can strap on anytime and roll around on with maximum style. also, half the stuff that pros do on skates i can at least try to replicate, whereas lets be honest 99% of snowboarders/ski'ers that you meet on-piste can barely pop a 180. it's like skateboarding... really impressive at the top level but there's nothing more annoying than the hundreds of grommets you meet at your local park crowding the ramp trying to land their shitty amateur crap.
