Gotta say, can't really see how LSD or ecstasy is less dangerous than pot. I mean, without proper hydration people do die from ecstasy, albeit very rarely. And something that makes you trip balls (LSD) seems more hazardous than something that makes you lazy and eat Doritos.
LSD fucks with your spinal fluid, not good.ghettoperson wrote:

Urban legend. LSD is entirely nontoxic, and apart from the psychological dangers of a bad trip, is a perfectly safe drug.Cybargs wrote:

Also MDMA is perfectly safe in moderation and can be used to treat PTSD.
You sure about that?LSD is entirely nontoxic
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Of all the drugs LSD seems to screw people up more than any other.

Pretty sure that you cannot od on LSD.Spark wrote:

You can jump off a building, but as those who have done it know, you have to have had that thought in your head in the first place. LSD makes whatever you are feeling more intense whether it is hate love or fear or suicide.
Also, shitty LSD has strychnine in it which can make you feel lousy. But LSD itself is non-toxic.
I don't do shrooms or acid anymore because I am too stressed out. Can't chill and have fun on it.
So I don't do it.
The War on Drugs has never been about protecting the public but rather about how well the government can tax a substance, how well corporations can control the supply, and how avidly the religious are against a substance's use.
Man what are those scientists smoking... is there any credibility left when it comes to using science to set public policy.
I like how the scientists say that they aren't entering into the policy debate... which of course means that they are activily engaged in it.
Pot is high on that list for only one reason "Second, chronic physical harm—ie, the health consequences of repeated use (eg, psychosis with stimulants, possible lung disease with cannabis)."
This is the same idiotic pile of crap we hear from morons in Congress who say "medical marijuana is dangerous to cancer patients because it causes lung cancer." They speak without first knowing all the facts, like ingestion of marijuana causes zero smoke to enter the lungs.
If these "scientestas" examined only the smoking of marijuana and its effects, then they might as well have dictated the policy because what they just pronounced as scientific fact is a load of crap that will find the eager ears of the people who set policy and will no doubt sign fat checks for their next "scientific" study adventure into wonderland.

Legalise and then tax it should have been the policy decades ago.
I think I would be just about OK with legalising and controlling natural grade MJ for people over 18 or better 21, the skunk stuff which is many times more potent definitely not.
I wouldn't want to see it used in public though, cigarettes are going that way in Aus so shouldn't be a biggy.
