Problem with new rig

Following:
Always when I'm starting CoD MW2 the Infinity Ward intro is lagging. When I start the first mission its lagging very hard.
Sys. Specs:
Intel i7 860 @ 2.80 Ghz
Nvidia 295GTX
4GB DDR3 1333 OCZ
Asus P7P55D
Cooler Master 700W

I tried:
Updating drivers
DirX
Temps. were OK

Mine does the same when I start the MP client. At the main screen it sticks likes fuck, I taught it might have something to do with xfire and the in game popup thing. But turning off xfire didn't fix it.

My friends does this, too.

You gotta leave the game at the menu for a few minutes and it un-lags eventually.

He also has similar specs, minus the GPU, so maybe it's something to do with them.

BD2 and MW1 both lag for the first 10-30 secs online.
Seems to be an internet thing.

I think it doesn't. I have the 295 GTX aswell and have no lags in MW2.
I own the XFX 295 XT.
