Really? Then why did America in 150 years since birth, start leading  the rest of the world in innovation, technology, medicine, and became a super power?

And if you think for one second that the US alone is leading the rest of the world in anything you are so misinformed it's scary ... yes you are amongst the more brilliant nations on earth but hardly alone and on many issues surpassed in the fields you claim ...

Your past successes is now looking more like it will be your downfall ... if you think your proud nation just passed the last economical test you ain't seen nothing yet ... spending out of control have brought greater empires than yours to its knees ...

There are many bloated corporations which leech off the govt, those are just two examples, the financial houses, GM etc some more.

Yes lately? Our country is not set up for such govt. interference, and as stated before the private sector did quite well before govt. intrervention.
