Yeah I was fortunate enough to grab dim sum at a restaurant in Chinatown in San Francisco. It was great. Only problem is that the Triads ran it and wanted to break my friend's legs when we didn't leave a large enough tip Actually just some old lady bitched him out at the register and we were like, "well wtf just include that in the bill then if it's not optional and there's a certain minimum".=NHB=Shadow wrote:

Anyone good with Uni Personal Statements here? I wanna send all my applications off today and just want some feedback on my Personal Statement. I already pushed it through my teacher, and he says it's all good, but I still want it to be perfect. I'll PM it to anyone who wants to look it over for me
Damn, I'd totally take a look, but I don't think I'd have enough time within the coming hours to really sit down and take a good look
Although I'm not sure how much an American personal statement would differ from an English one and if that even matters.
I remember feeling proud of my personal statement, I truly think it is what got me into a decent school since my test scores weren't spectacular and neither were my grades (at least compared to the bajillions of other people applying here). But I bet if I take a look back now, I'd think it sucked.
