What I find funny is that I knew all of these things were going to happen becasue I spoiled them by watching videos before I actually bought the games, but It never takes away from actually experiencing it for myself. HL is the first game that made me care about characters and their well being. During EP2, I was basicly like, as Splinter said, "ohfuckohfuckohfuck" when Alyx got stabbed (Do we REALLY need spoiler tags for that one?) and when I watched the ending, I was like , especially when thinking about what was said immediatley before hand. In the MW games, the music definetly helps with the sad part. Both occurances made me want to kill Zakhaev and Shepherd badly. I didn't like the characters in MW2 as much as MW, but the reason they were killed, which was for nothing, made me sad.

Tons of games for me TBH.
Brothers in Arms series was full of sad moments. Allen and Garnett, Corrion getting shot after the fight with Matt, but I think he lives. Oh and Red getting mortared and paralyzed. Lt Col Cole getting sniped.
Then there's sad moments in Crysis and Warhead with the USMC guy on the bridge. Here's my video...
Then Jackson in COD4 and Gaz and Price and Griggs.
ArmA II when Mike gets shot.
COD-WaW picking between the Sarge and the Pvt. And the first SGT who gets raped by a samurai sword.

i wouldn't say i was sad, but i was definitely surprised when the sniper shoots sharon in vegas 2. didn't see that coming.
