Anyone been to a gig this year?
Going on the 6th, and want to know the set list, not a huge fan so I want to listen to some more of their music.

I saw Basement Jaxx back in '04 or '05 I think? They were terrible, to be perfectly honest. Royksopp, a group I had never heard of at the time, opened for them and completely rocked and blew the audience away with an amazing show. Everyone wanted more of them, everyone was up and dancing and having a blast. When BJ came on, you could tell the energy was lost and people weren't as into it. Kinda sucks when the main act gets upstaged by the openers.

Gee thanks..

TBH, i don't think BJ are the sort of group to get you dancing and raving, a bit more chilled i think. I thought they were meant to be really good live, like at the Radio 1 Big Weekend (where everyone was raving about them).

Still go see them if you like the music though! They may have just had an off night, and I hadn't listened to them much beforehand, so I didn't have much of a base to get going (although after going back and listening to some of their stuff, I'm still not a fan )

They were pretty amazing to watch, not my favourite music to go to a gig for, but was fun all the same.
Amazing performers, dancing and costumes were awesome.

Only problem was that the average age of the crowd was about 30, meaning there were quite a few middle aged people around us :s

Also, I think we were the first stop on their 2009 UK tour
