Probably if you're American. For the British you have to deal with the armchair IRA every other youtube comment...krazed wrote:

Oddly enough I just beat the Red Alert 3 mission where you (as the Imperials) must defend Pearl Harbor from the invading Allied Barbarians.

No, Liveleak is better if you're American, Youtube is worse. On liveleak you'll get alot of racist comments towards Japanese people, or non-white people in general, plus some other shit, plus some extra patriotic American nonsense. On youtube, you'll just get alot of conspiracy nonsense, alot of just general idiocy and more stupid 12 year oldsjord wrote:

The rule of the thumb is to never even bother looking at the comments on such public websites. Liveleak installed a feature where you had to click to view the comments because they knew of all the crap that gets posted there, Youtube should do the same.

I doubt the US wanted a war with anyone.Dilbert_X wrote:

If they weren't at battle stations thats their problem really.
I also wouldn't say an attack was entirely expected. Perhaps the commanding officers certainly underestimated the Japanese?
Radar technology at the time was still very new. The radar operator had been expecting a group of bombers to be returning to the base and thought the Japanese he saw were the bombers he'd been told to expect.
The Japanese flew in with the sun at their backs so they wouldn't be seen very well - how's that not indicative of a surprise attack?
