I was wondering .. I just received my explosive ordinance badge .. does that mean I can not longer get my First Sargent rank? seeing that I am now a Master Sargent?

Basic Explosive ordinance is not a req. for any rank. If you are currently Master Sgt you will never get promoted to 1st Sgt. You will (when u meet the reqs) be promoted to Mstr Gnry Sgt or Sgt Mjr
