another awesome update, Boomerjinks! i knew Denver would get slammed, it rain/snowed here in SLC, but it was a fast mover. looks like you enjoy it as much as the crowd . . .
Studded winter tires FTW! Well worth the $20/tire for the studs.

Took the Magnum out to Third Bridge for some stargazing and long-exposure shooting.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! I'm a fan of those long-exposure shots. Really sweet stuff.
Boomerjinks as someone who is terrible with time management I've got to ask: How do you find time to do all this cool stuff?

I shirk lots of other responsibilities.

Boomerjinks, as someone who has a very low bank balance, I've got to ask: how do you find the money to do all this cool stuff?
Well, before just this last January, I was really just a struggling mid-20s guy. I don't drink shovel money into anything like WOW or, I guess stuff normal people spend lots of money on. Now I work for Apple from home, so I save money on gas and insurance and eating out, and I channel it into nerdy crap.

Wow. Dan Aykroyd himself, AND he signed the car. That's just epic.
Dan Aykroyd bottle-signing in Denver, we were excited!
I spent the morning cleaning the f*** out of the car. Shiny wheels, spotless windows, grease-free door jambs, the whole shebang.
Hanging out in front of Argonaut Liquors, on Colfax. We really couldn't take a picture that didn't have a porn shop in the background. Stupid Colfax.
Waiting in line. We were the youngest people there, probably by like 10 years. The whole usual "every person in the store asking for pictures" ensued.
That's right.
We got the usual "only sign three pieces of memorabilia, take as many pictures as you like, but do not pictures with Dan" spiel. But as soon as we got up to the table, of course he stood up, came around and went over all the props and costumes.
Rockin' the skulls.
This pretty much sums up the night....
Dan signed the visor, I thanked him for doing what he does, and that was it.
So, a very very fun afternoon and evening.
