Oh wow... talk about overreaction. As disciplined service members you'd think people would know better rather than to get all huffy over stupid shit. Yeah the guy maybe a cock for doing that, but there's worse shit out there. I was just alarmed by the reaction some of you guys gave, certainly seemed quite over the top.

Hmm I see your point, however I assumed SOCOM units to have a lot less restriction, such as the Aussie SAS don't have any uniform regulation at all, and they are allowed long hair and beards. But actually, Rudy is one of the most respected fire team leaders in his company, despite his questionable grooming and sexual orientation.

If it's a problem for a guy to be in the same room full of showers with a gay man happening to shower at the same time, then that guy has personal issues. it is easy to point out those that have never served a minute in the military.^^^^^ full of opinion as to what YOU need accept, without them there of course.

I did serve 9 months in the military. I am positive that a few guys in my company were/are still gay.

I served 4 years in the military, no not a play on words, no not dodging the question, no not being eleusive. I served 4 years active duty military

But 4 years of active duty inside a compound, yes? I'm not trying to undermine you, you just seem to be trying to avoid my original question.
