Haye almost knocked him at in the last round, Valuev was stumbling around but then he managed to get Haye in that... grapple thing they do.
I wish I hadn't bothered spending £15 to watch that boring spectacle on pay per view. Worst fight I've seen in some time.

You actually paid for it? Most people I knew either went to a pub or just got a free stream online, although I ended up missing the last few rounds cos my stream fucked up
But then about half an hour later the BBC showed the only interesting bit in the match on the news (the bit where Haye had Valuev stumbling)

Yes, I foolishly paid to watch it. Last time I ppv a heavyweight fight simply beacause it confirmed what I already knew - heavyweight is a dead division. There isn't a single fighter in it that one could call great. The Klitschko's are by far the best of a bad bunch, and I really don't reckon much to either of them to be honest. No doubt we'll hear in the British press about how great David Haye is now, but the reality of the matter is there are no great heavyweights, and there hasn't been for some time.

three words why HW isn't interesting as it was~ James "Buster" Douglas
fuckin Mike was a beast (literally) and i think the Robbin Givens knockout should go on his record as well.

So Haye's next fight is to be against John Ruiz, Mr. Clinch-and-grab and low-blow faker. Surely that'll be another classic!
