Well then you are admitting an Islamic extremist infiltrated the military. I agree.
Quite possibly and quite unsurprisingly.
We agree on this, I to am not surprised. Now, what is it, to prevent this from happening again, do you suggest the US mlitary do about it? Of course, without profiling, excluding, scrutinizing disproportionally etc..........
I have actually come around to the fact that profiling is fine. I had almost forgotten that I myself was once profiled. Me and my friend were the only two non-Jews on a flight from Eilat to Tel Aviv. We were strip searched and our luggage (even hold luggage) emptied and swabbed. I couldn't have cared less because I expected as much and understood why. Just because the IRA trained the PLO I wasn't going to take the treatment as an insult.

It sounds like that from the sequence of events presented thus far.
Ahhh but if he were an extremist for any length of time, he then infilitrated all secured access points based on his cover as a patriotic American and officer in the US Army, including this processing center.

Infiltrated is a strong, scary, ugly word I know, but it does fit.

Why would he have went silent for a period of time and then blown his cover in advance of the hit? Inflitrators with medical qualifications shouldn't be stupid enough to post shit on the internet.

Of course you do. Are people who are nuts born nuts? lol. Psychotic behaviour is often causal or environmentally driven. Stick someone in solitary confinement for a few months and see if they stay 'not nuts'. Kids who get bullied often start off fine and then snap.

From your style of assumptions/generalisations, you can only ever reach a few sort of extreme solutions tbh.
I am saying that the US military was, by all accounts of this guy, infiltrated by an Islamic extremist. What are you trying to say, That it wasn't?

Islam is a problem, to deny that, well, you're in denial.

Nope, not kick out all Muslims, but CAIR, Mosques, schools, etc should be profiled, scrutinized and kept under surveillance. Or will this hurt too many feelings?
Sounds like it would just exacerbate the problem really. I don't actually like Islam at all, but I also don't really like seeing certain groups of people demonised and vilified in certain ways. Your ideas don't really seem quite fair really. And they also go against pretty much everything that we (we as in, the western world) usually stands for. You always claim your a champion of western values etc.. but you seem to be anything but that.

I guess sort of in the same way one would look at the Muslim terrorists and see them as the people who don't really stand for Muslim values and all that shit, but just less extreme.

He got 13 for the price of his own life. A sucide bomber should be so lucky in the eyes of an Islamic terrorist.

you people and all your excuses.  its not islam its because they are poor.  this dude wasnt poor (nor was bin laden btw)

its because they are opressed by the US.  this dude was a US soldier.

but ya, guess he just "turned" to the dark side of islam.  what a load.

And infiltrators usually keep a low profile...

I think the pressures of being sent to fight in his religious/ethnic home ground were too much.

That this was a pre-planned suicide mission rather than a psychotic snap doesn't fit imo.

But we'll see as more evidence is released.

I think his actions are totally cold and calculated - I don't think he was deranged, he was a murderer with a fixed purpose. I don't think he found his 'purpose' until after he was already in the military though.

PS I notice how Bin Laden hasn't been 'committed' enough to blow himself up.... he gets stupid poor people to do that for him.

You are correct, I have long admitted my view toward Islam is hypocritical to the rights in our Constitution. I am not perfect.

However I can justify my views when the right to that religion is violated by abuse of that right and when that religion curtails the rights of others. That is a bigger hypocrisy. Islam and its intolerance's do not fit in our society of tolerance. In this case the paradox of not tolerating intolerance does make sense

I think the big deal here is that it may very well have been premeditated. Remember the VA Tech shooter? At first I thought he just snapped, but then the investigators found those video tapes of him saying how he was going to kill people, and those photos of him pointing guns at the camera etc. You could argue that he snapped, but it wasn't like he was just walking around and decided to kill people. If he "snapped" then he probably decided that he wanted to kill people and planned it out.

Oh now I get you. The point is that this guy was in the US military and had been acting erratically around his peers and perhaps someone should have learned some lessons following the incident you speak of... The 9/11 bombers never stayed silent for a moment. This guy became active on the internet at a certain point in time (well into his tenure it would seem).

That is a point, however not the one I was chasing.  If profiling was allowed I am sure he woulda been nabbed

I am saying this guy gave his shit away, posted shit. IE. he wanted t oleave something of himself behind, just like any other terrorist. He knew what he was going to do, he knew why, and he knew when. He used his credentials to get through and he carried out his plan and he was successful at it...Not sure how you can call this any different than any other terrorist attack.

Check my edit.

Personally I believe he already had the credentials and misused them in retrospect. But it is quite possible that it was entirely premeditated.

Erm, flight school takes months/a couple of years. This guy was a career military man American with 20 years experience, long before the Bin Ladens, the intifadas in Palestine, the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Doesn't really wash as far as I'm concerned. Nobody 'sleeps' for that long. And nobody who is a sleeper for that long would be so lax as to post shit months in advance of a hit. That's just retarded.
