BF2 stalls at about 5-10 minutes into the game leaving a BBBBBRRrrrrrzzzZZ loop sound and i have to reset the computer sometimes it will do it after about 30 seconds but not always. Funny thing is after about 2 or 3 times it does this, then it does'nt happen any more until the next day i play. So it will happen 2 or 3 times and then i can play the whole night until i exit or play another day.

All my drivers are up to date, this never happend when i was on vista.

Does anyone know what it could be that is doing this?

I have something similar but it happens when "Verifying Client Content" . Game loads fine, apart suttering on "Objects" then when completed goes to desktop, re-sizes desktop, returns to game then hangs with the trip flare noise from PR, then finally goes into the game, in total about 30 secs. Just to put something in response, sorry couldn't of been much more use.
Deleting Cache doesn't help either with me, have you tried that Skalinki?

well its happend right from the get go from a clean install on my whole hard drive. I have updated sound, GFX drivers, checked event viewer, and some sound settings in windows, checked and used different compatibilty modes. Aswell as trying a few other things, done quite abit really but no fix yet.

I am not sure though, but if i log into a game, and then just run around for 5 or 10 seconds, then leave the server and then connect again i think it does'nt happen, but i could be wrong cause it might just be its time not to do it on me...lol.. and i think i have done it like that and it still froze on me.
