Does that PPS have a lot of muzzle flip?
yes, although its not as bad as one would think. check out a youtube video review to see how it operates.Dilbert_X wrote:

I don't feel its bad at all. Supposedly no where near the amount its keltec or kahr comparables have.RAIMIUS wrote:

That's what I was wondering. I've fired the PF9, and it had quite a bit of muzzle flip. (Not too surprising, when one considers the weight and dimensions)signa wrote:

Next question: how is the trigger pull?
Muzzle flip?
Fancy name for recoil?
Fancy name for recoil?
Sort of.
Recoil is simply the byproduct of firing a bullet...Newton's laws, etc.
Muzzle flip is the tendency for the front of the gun to rise more than the back. Some pistols' recoil is directed more to the rear, while others tend to flip upward. Muzzle flip makes taking subsequent shots slower, since you have to move the pistol more to regain a proper sight picture.
The power of the cartridge, mass of the gun, dimensions of the gun, and how high the barrel is above your hand affect muzzle flip. Also, how much you move is affected by your grip/stance.
