BF2S Forums Stats not being tracked

Possibilities:
- ur in the q still
- slow server (hasnt sent data to EA)
- crap server (crashed or summin - data never got sent)

its pretty common knowledge that the EA stats servers go MIA over the weekends.

for some reason they just take forever to update.  my stats are about 5 hours behind right now.

Jesus, calm down. TMo didn't even mention the 'queue' and you flip out.

Your initial post is talking about your stats not updating at all, ie. your global score not increasing. Then you claim to have seen your score at over 40k one day (which according to your history graph you have never been near 40k.) Finally you post saying that your global score is lower than your combat/team/commander scores combined.

Which issue should I tackle first...

Your global score appears to be updating just fine. You have been steadily increasing your score over the past few months, I am not sure why the fuss exactly. Most likely you played on a server that went down before reporting the round scores and so those points were never added to your total. Tough luck.

As for having seen your score above 40k, I know this is a flat out lie. Your score has never been above 39k, which is where it is right now. Just check the graph on your stat page if you don't believe me.

Now, about the score totals. You are missing one key element, negative points. Shooting and killing friendly soldiers gets you negative points, as you may well know. These negative points are then subtracted from your total score (combat/team/commander) to give you your global score.

Anything else?

You have 500 teamkills.

You also have 280 suicides.

500*4= 2000

280*4=1120

2000+1120=3120

And that is without any of the team damage points.

I don't just spout stuff for no reason, I am telling you this because it is fact. Other people have noted the apparent disconnect between total combat/team/command score and global score in the past, and the answer lies in the negative points. That's all there is to it.

If you don't want to take my word on it then you are more than welcome to go figure it out on your own.
