aha fuck skateboarders, 99% of the ones i have known have been 14 year olds that wear nirvana t-shirts and try the same shitty trick endlessly for 3 hours. the culture of skateboarding is shit to me. rollerblading is all about being chill, stylish, and having a good time with friends. skateboarding is all "we're punk and we're cool yarhhh", i think i grew out of that the same time i grew out of limp bizkit and korn. thank fuck.
and yeah baggs, i was really serious about rolling! skated in comps for several years, even had an endorsement-event at sony playstation skatepark for Route One (a big UK skate shop) where i represented their brand, sponsor-style! i stopped skating a few years ago when the cool-kids that only did it for the bandwagon stopped, and then i had no one else to skate with. i hooked myself up with a new pair though this year at uni and im loving the freedom and the chilllllout vibes of just rolling around campus, especially at night. it's good for me time, thinking time, and getting-out-aggression time. rolling is love! this really sums it up for me, it's the skate team i represent allll the time now.
