Got it earlier today, thus far only really started up the game and going through the process of setting up training coaches, scouting etc.
Some of the new features seem really good like the new simplified tactics set-up (useful for just setting up your rough tactical system), all the new back room staff advice on players and stuff seems very useful. Also the new game engine although apparently slightly tweaked does seem to look and run a lot smoother.

So anyone got it? What are peoples thoughts?

Yeah, absolutely great so far. A few niggles is the ease of switching between certain panels in your match.

For some reason, my tactics tab (the one that is just your teams name) is usually greyed out, and I can only access whilst the game is in full flight from the TV view... It's weird, and I can't fix it.

At the top on mine (where the scoreline is) there is a tactics button, if I press that the tactics screen comes up while the game continues. If I click the actual team name, it takes me to the tactics screen but the game pauses.

Major improvement - loving it so far!

Backroom is brilliant, I use it all the time 3D-mode is vastly improved, AI has improved, layout is much better, but it seems the tactical filosofy has changed a bit since '09.. Like, set-ups that worked great in '09 aren't that awesome in '10.

I haven't really tried the side-line commands yet (launch balls into box etc), but it seems nice.

Playing as Wimbledon, as always

Yeah agree with everything you've said there Jens.
The sideline commands are quite useful for making quick/slight changes to your style of play, if reacting to the opposition or a goal etc.

Also Delap's throws are hilarious on this still haven't managed to score off one yet though

There are a few niggles that I highly dislike.

A lot of the "pre thought out" actions and decisions that are taken by the AI that occurred in 09 are still occurring in 10. It feels a lot like 09 sometimes, just nicer and with a few add ons.

For example: Abidal is still getting left out of the France squad, even though he is consistently getting 7-8s for Barcelona. This also happened in 09 and there was no way to get him in the squad, however well he performed. It's a bit annoying.

I seem to be having the classic problem that my strikers seem unable to score even the simplest one on ones gets really annoying...
