- Something has to be done about Chinese pollution
Until they start polluting some other country noone will do anything.

i knew it was bad but holy shit! had no idea it was THAT bad
Thats disgusting.
Yeah that's some fucked up shit, then again you could probably find the same shit, ok maybe not on such a big/bad scale, in most other countries in the world.
Most of their pollution comes from big things like factories and shit so it all looks worse when snapped with a camera, but I'm sure all the hundreds of millions of westerners in cars and the general western lifestyle stacks up to be worse, infact it is worse, it's just less visible. Governments over here have done a good job in terms of setting the system up so it doesn't look that bad, granted, there's also laws which ban outright ridiculous pollution like you see there, but then again that's also part of the system we have here.
What I'm trying to say is... we're still probably worse than them, in terms of the larger picture.

I'm pretty sure the West Coast USA is doing a fine enough job on its own to fuck shit up without needing no commies for helpCybargs wrote:

When I was in China during the summer all you see was smog, it was always humid, its hot like california but imagine like 100% humid, once you step outside you sweat like no other, the only time I saw blue skies was when I landed in Hong Kong and it was raining, the day after I went on a boat ride across Victoria Harbor with beauuuutiful blue skies
Those photos honestly look like they were taken from Industrial Revolution England o.O

The Chinese are not far off making their country uninhabitable, no drinking water, no farmable land.
Then there'll be trouble....
Then there'll be trouble....
Fuck Israel
Bert has assured me that they are working on it. I'm taking his cough* word.

Cheap now maybe. When the food chain is ruined and that shit leeches into the ground water and starts raining from the sky it will not seem like such a good deal.Macbeth wrote:

i got a cold when i went to china.. go figure lol
Why do you think they want to go Eco-friendly now? They realized they fucked over the country. Taiwan used to be like that (well not as bad), thank god they moved all the shit into China. Fuck Shanghai is depressing, been there for 4 days and I just wanted to leave. All the nice skyscrapers are just facade for white people to think China is developing, the rest of the country is an absolute hell hole.Dilbert_X wrote:

Bloody hell.
Despite the shittyness, theres not a lot we can do about it immediately.
But come on, how can you have kids knowing that they've got a chance of being disabled? This is part of the problem imo.

No matter where you live, you have a chance of having kids with a disability.KuSTaV wrote:

Yes, China has a serious pollution problem. Is it directly responsible for all the problems there? No.
Some of that shit just happens anyway (cancer, disabilities, etc).
