My whole tirade was in part due to Todd_Angelo's criticism of tvmisslemans original post and the fact that tvmissleman didn't have the awesome sense of humor that superfly_cox had.

I was responding, even though it was several posts later, to Todds original comment in the way of a commentary piece on how much posts like "ur gay" and "STFU n00b" bring to an argument in general, and to BF2 posts in specific.  I also elaborated on the type of people I think may be responsible for such posts, and in a round about way I question their intelligence.

I thought it was funny. A lot of my friends thought it was funny.  Snipedya14 and tvmissleman didn't seem to think so.  I didn't want to lower myself to a one liner "TVMM you're a fuckin idiot." 

I have no personal beef with a 17 year old soon to be CS Major. But if you want to defend the stupid asshats who post these stupid one liners and show just how cool they can be calling people n00bs instead of saying nothing at all because it shows either poor impulse control or inability to articulate thoughts, go right ahead.  It won't change my line of thinking that those people are fuckin retards acting like 13 year olds with their first internet connection.  I don't personally care for leetspeak or crapchat.  It's a lazy person's tool. 

I think Superfly_Cox got ripped of good props for his humorous post.  And every one finger leetspeaking crapchatter had to log their opinion of his post.  Which was unnecessary.

I have no problem with most comments or their spelling or punctuation and I know English isn't a first language for everyone. 

I guess it would have been easier if I'd just insulted the guy who made the stupid comment because that's all some people can fathom.  I should have said he was gay and I banged his mom, the bitch gave me the clap and she still owes me the check for not pimpslapping him retarded.

But here's a question I have.  What does someone get out of a slam post of "STFU n00b" or "u r gay"?
What kind of monster intellect comes up with this? Why don't I get hit with the full power that a post like that carries?

I'm not bashing you on grammar, and I agree that certain people lack communication ettiquette. Your posts were fine.  You're fighting the "all kids are the same stereotype"  you seem like a smart guy. I know many people who are even older than I who do these shitty one liners.  I think they're idiots as well.  Anyone who reads something like that in a post or in a chat, if they didn't already know them or were leet enough to speak the language would think they're dealing with a kid. You'd get the same effect with grunts and hand gestures.

EA is so fucking uptight about security - so uptight that people who have BOUGHT the game and entered their unique CD-key are barred from playing because aparently they don't have the correct key. Likewise EA insists that I havn't bought Special Forces and keeps telling me to purchase and download it from the EA downloader site.

I used to try and defend EA but now they've made it fucking impossible for me. They're like fucking drug dealers, they give you something that gives you a buzz and gets you addicted but later you realise that it's not good for you and the side-effects fuck with your mind.

O-okay, didn't plan on going off on a tangent like that, but I'm glad I got that out.

New Class for patch 1.4!!!
The Spelling Geek Class.
Works like a commander and has the same interface. Can't run around freely. But heres the difference. He/She can drop arty, sorry artillery on anyone in the game who miss spells or used abbreviations. Supply crates are replaced with a fold out classroom complete with blackboard desk and heres where the Geek class is set free.....a spelling teacher. All this falls from the sky close to anyone not practicing the Queens good English. UAV's have been replaced with Unknown Airborne vowels. Get quizzed by Geek on vowels, get too many wrong and you are demoted. A special promotion system is unique to the geek class. You start as
'Anally retentive Fst Class'
Gradually working your way to
'Supper don't get out much Geek'

All in all combined with the MP class, the game shall be a much more rewarding experience. Not only will there be an orderly cue for choppers, but also a stimulating chat about the rain falling mainly on the fuckin plane!!!

Sweet, mandatory attendance for all violators means massive kills with air/artillery strikes.  I think it was codenamed Quicksand for the upcoming patch

As far as special abilities, MPs will also have the "fake evidence" skill!  They will be able to plant evidence on suspect gamers for whom they can't prove, but are sure of the fact, that they cheated.  EA has stated that the chances of false convictions based on this special ability are practically nil due to the integrity of those who would choose to take up this noble duty.

UPDATE:  This just in from EA!

MP's will also be tasked with patroling friendly airports and making sure that the ROE are followed with respect to planewhoring!  If you TK for a plane or force friendly pilots to TK you, MP's will arrest you on sight and handcuff you to the nearest airplane or helicopter (with a nice joy ride to follow).  Should these not be availabe then they will be cuffed to the nearest TOW or Stinger Missile (followed by blast off).

Now here's the best part of all: if someone should TK an MP then that person's stats will be wiped (along with their clanmates) and their hardware banned thereby ensuring that the virtual battlefield of EA/DICE remains safe from neo-fascist and anarchists.

NOTE: I hear they are planning new kits for Patch 1.4!  If you hear about em before us post it and I'll add it to this thread!
