hah! yeah sure I have the Lambo back in the shop for a complete paintjob. we can take turns seeing who can get arrested for wreckless driving first!
are you in the area now? I thought you were up near duluth? at any rate feel free to stop out!
The only mall I saw security at was in Ventura California. They wear HELMETS on segways and go slower than walking speed. What the heck?
They're completely pointless. Besides, it's more effective just to throw my Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf into the face of whoever is robbing me xD instead of calling on those dumb security guys.

im just east of the cities for a month or so

Same in Australia. It's also illegal to use a cell phone to take pictures inside a shopping mall. Can you believe that?Kmarion wrote:
Really? NONE. I'm packing right now.Ty wrote:
There is no security presence at Malls in NZ, at least not the ones arond here.
Packing more ways than one.
That law goes up for still images from security cams as wellZombie_Affair wrote:

It's pretty stupid not to have security. Especially on a continent that used to be a penal colony .DrunkFace wrote:
The only security we get at the local 'mall' is random check ups after everything is closed (ie after midnight).Kmarion wrote:

It's not like it cost much at all when split among a hundred stores or more. How big is your local mall?
They help people when they have car troubles and other mall services as well (primarily?).

When the Government decided that it was perfectly acceptable to put cameras all through the cities and malls that are monitored 24/7. There was a huge stink about Privacy Invasion. People believed it was unnacceptable to be recorded on CCTV all over the city wherever they went. Most of these people had something to hide. Of course, in other parts of the developed world, this is far from news, but for the most part we had nothing like what we have now.Chou wrote:

No idea about security in shopping malls, we have 'malls' in England and my closest one is Bluewater, the only security i've ever seen round there is actual Police officers and that day there was a couple of them and they seemed to be interested in a guy in a turban with a camcorder.
