Pretty big post here. October is the busy season.
Last Saturday we were invited to lead the coffin races parade of hearses in Manitou Springs. The staging area was completely blocked off by poorly-parked hearses, so to get to the "front", we had to drive from the end of the route down to the beginning. What this meant was that we got the parade crowd all to ourselves. Hilarity ensues.
The parade itself was pretty rad. Kris and Richie walking with proton packs out in front of the car, me driving, and Shauna and Alyssa riding "Deathproof" on the rear doors.
Immediately after that we booked it back up to Denver, but we stopped at the Air Force Academy for some neat-o pictures...
Back in Denver, we headed downtown to partake in the 4th annual Zombie Crawl. We strategically positioned the car in an alley to pop out and "intercept" the zombies with a surprise battle... thing. We were armed with proton pack, crowbars, wrenches, and a guitar hero guitar.

Here's kind of a cool video of the thing, not by me.
We're at the beginning, and at the end, where I try to run over some douchebag in a trenchcoat who won't get out of the way.
Then on Tuesday of this week, a winter storm blew in and proceeded to dump 24 inches of snow across the Front Range, effectively killing normal Halloween activities. Lame. But I'm not one to let certain moments go to waste.
Cool effects happen when snow and the lights interact.
This is my first RWD vehicle, and it absolutely sucks in the snow compared to the Outback. We went out to practice and see what kinds of fun we could have in the parking lot. I'll get it down eventually and you'll probably see some better videos of way faster sliding later in the winter.
