I think that the point she was trying to make but failed miserably was, wouldn't you say that for a kid with parents in the military that it would be in her best interests that the war ended? If that kid had the right to vote, wouldn't it be stupid to vote for someone who publicly stated that he would put her parents in harms way. It a good thing to teach a kid to look out for their self interest like every individual should.
But saying Daddy is going to be in Iraq for 100 years is really really stupid, and harmful IMO.
Wonder why the schools are failing? because we aren't paying the teachers enough to attract bright talent. Yayyyy low taxes, booo stupid teachers, ummm that's cause and effect folks. If you're smart you go make mega bucks by creating airy fairy financial instruments that only make sense in a alternate upside down universe. If you dumb you find work at a school and teach kids how to be dumb.
Just throw more money at them. Don't worry about accountability. That'll fix everything.
That teacher and that school need to be hit over the fucking head with the reset button.
