The time has come, I'm quitting BF2.  After having wasted close to 600 hours of my life on a game, I thought I'd move on.

So I bought Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  And I think I might waste a few more hours of life on that.

Still, I really enjoyed BF2, and I really enjoyed playing it in tandem with this site.  I limited myself to a couple of hours/day, which is something I strongly recommend to you guys.  Go out, play some sports, find some chicks.  Then come back and relax on BF2.

Maybe see you on bf3s when it comes out?  Laters.

Elder Scrolls will be good for completing all the reasonable quests, closing a couple of gates, and riding about the wilderness. Then, if I decide that the editor just doesn't cut it, I'll exchange it with a friend for another single player game.

Elder Scrolls is a kickass game.

But then again so is BF2.

So i (at least try) to play both. Although TES IV is taking more and more, and i am playing bf2 less and less.

Good one make your mind up....

I like to play BF2 because it's a money saver during the week if i'm short on cash, so at least I can have a heavy weekend.

I'd play my copy of TES IV Oblivion a hell of a lot more if it weren't so FUCKING buggy.  We're talking 50% of the time, crashes to desktop upon loading a save game, a 25% chance of CTD on loading a new area, and a roughly 10% chance per minute of crashing due to some random bug or glitch.

It really says something about how damn good the game is if I'm still willing to play it after all that, though.  And at least if you've decided to move on from BF2, you replaced it with a worthy game.

Another one quitting-and-coming-back-in-a-week post?
Well I manage to have projects, play BF2 on days off along with a wife and also sometimes quad in the desert and work 50hrs a week.  I do see the sun. But those that really quit don't post I've found out...

Easy boys, ever heard of anyone 'taking the piss'?  I have a full-time job, an even fuller time girlfriend, and I box for 2 hours every day.

But now that the weather's getting better, I'm just saying I prefer to spend my time outdoors.

Over and out.

/OT: My game buddies are changing to oblivion too. Even the die hard fps gamer is hooked now...
I like rpg to but it can't compete with a nice game where you see guys driving of alone in their jeeps, teamkill to get the jets or have their PgDwn button glued down. Yay, I love BF2

I love how people have to play a game non stop hardcore,  then quit when it ruins their life,  and then when they post about it they have to tell others who play that same game to "get a chick" and get a life etc etc.....

If you cant balance a social life,  girlfriend and real life while still having fun farming noobs now and then  you fail.

I dont understand how people can let a game affect their lives.  Moderation.
