Actually, there was already a phone line that went down to the study... for the internets.... So i attached a string to it, pulled it up, tied the ethernet cable to it, and pulled both back down.
Took me forever to find the phone line in the roof but.. and it got jammed on the way back a couple of times XD
The one in my room is simply a hole in the roof for the pedo cat which i terminated with a wall fitting.
