I've flewn LOT a couple times, but for me it was a 2 hour flight from Warsaw to Kaliningrad(hometown), and it wasn't HORRIBLE, the but the planes were really stuffy and sucked balls.
Agreed that KLM/Lufthansa = Best.

I flew Lufthansa once, but not long enough to judge them. I can't say it wasn't enjoyable. KLM, when I flew it a couple of years back, wasn't very good. I've heard they've improved though.
British Air is how I usually fly, it's quite nice having good food, constant supply of drinks, mainly coffee and Coca-Cola for me Anyway, their food AND drinks were wonderful. Not to mention they have a touch screen TV with loads of films for everybody.
I even flew Berlin air or whatever it was, something German. But man was it nice!

To the few people that were saying: It's cheap, what do you expect. LOT is a STAR ALLIANCE airline. You know, Lufthansa is one of the big members of that group and to be a Star Alliance member, you are supposed to maintain certain standards to match your other partner airlines. I've flown Lufthansa and Lufthansa is great (only complaint is that in their Airbuses, they still have ceiling mounted TVs). LOT isn't really up to Lufthansa quality even though they are supposed to be.
Seriously, though, from now on no more airlines like that, Star Alliance or not. This whole experience has been BS. What kills me is that it was a cologne I had less than a year that was a gift and the watch I had received as a birthday present from my mother just two years before. The part that kills me the most is that it was only a claim of $120. Nothing like $500 or whatever. Just $120. And they couldn't even cut me a check for HALF that. Nope. Nothing at all.
