I agree. I'm just a little disappointed that that trailer spoiled so much about the gameplay. I really wish they had left it a surprise that there would be guns and it would be modern.

I like that some of the day battles are crisp looking. CoD:4 was a bit too impressionistic.

I don't like this "alternate reality" they're presenting. I liked CoD4 because I was willing to suspend disbelief and think that that kind of stuff actually goes on today. But the whole attack on DC and everything's gone to hell is a bit much for my taste.

Holy shit... they actually did it, they actually decided to put the US in the game. So for once it'll actually make sense to be a soldier fighting foreigners in a video game.

I was complaining before about how stupid it was that US soldiers were fighting lowlives in Favelas in Brazil, as if Brazil would need the US to do that. But now it seems much more appealing from a story standpoint.

Firefights right outside the White House. lol, if it's anything like how they made the Reichstag/Berlin in WaW it the D.C campaign should be awesome. They really fucked the city up... it's not just storming an embassy occupied by terrorists.... actually looks like a full blown war in the capital of the USA

MP. i hope the maps are a bit bigger this time around. cant stand this claustraphobic, airstrike in your face every 2 sec, grenades being thrown at every corner, etc.

It looks like banal laziness and brainless using of cliche, like orthodoxy church's dome with star on top in CoD:UO or chechen pro-stalinist leader in CoD4 (Stalin departed many of them to Siberia, many died). But well, after clone of Lenin with butcher knife in CoD:WaW it is relatively mild.
