BF2S Forums I just saw the most stupid thing in this game

since servers started enforcing said rules

That's nothing, the other day I got banned for climbing a ladder.

And no, I'm not being a smartass, it really happened.

Nah, I was in a tank most of the round.  I just had an urge to fly, and went to the hangar (Operation Road Rage) and luckily got in an A10 when it spawned.  What followed was a kick from the server for "jumping the line".

It might be courtesy, but in the end its still stupid.

By far NOT the most stupid rule in BF2.

i cant say which is the most stupid but I have several candidates:

*no flag capping (sniper only and time servers; these people are totally lost on the concept)
*no commander (ffs it is a teamwork game but you disallow the most important team play aspect because some leagues don't allow it in their matches?)
*no uav or spotting (again rules inspired by league play)
*no C4 i.e. do not destroy assets
*no c4 or clays or mines near flags
*no <insert main weapon here> (no Eryx/SRAW because you can't revive victim, no g3 it is too powerful, no g36e because no recoil)
*no random bombing or strafing of flags
*no driving vehicles to aircraft

and don't give me the "their server their rules" bullshit because it is EA/DIce's ranked game and they have rules about server rules too

I got banned one day for typing.
This game has a good amount  of retards collected over the years and on top of that, gave them the possibility to have admin rights.

not compaired to mine. i got kicked out of a server where i was playing on Ghost town. i used c4 on an enemy tank only to get banned. so that defeats the purpose of using a spec ops kit.... pretty shitty dont u thinl .

I was kicked for a "name violation" once.....prolly the most ridiculous kick I can remember.

That is pretty stupid. Ridiculously stupid.

There were some people, but I arrived and the A10 spawned.  I got in and flew off, only to get kicked midair.

Beating admins to vehicles at start of game.
