If you're hiking out in the backwoods, low crawling through the brush just to get the perfect shot, then yes.

If it can be judged objectively I say it's a sport. If it's up to a panel I say it is a just a competition. And yes, that means sports can turn into competition if you choose to view the winner as the one with the most style in performance or something along those lines, but a competition can never be a sport.

All depends on what one uses to qualify what a sport happens to be. Trophy hunting is stupid imo, but hunting to use the meat and/or the fur seems perfectly valid.
