It's pretty stupid that there are things like this.. Collages get grants from the government to fill quotas of ethnic minorities. So even though your tuition is good and you might have better grades then someone, they'll get in.. Honestly Racism will never go away with moves like this.

When I see, as noted above, a rich black kid being accepted over a poor white kid with better scores and activities, it's not difficult to discern which measure of affirmative action supersedes the others.
