So your the PM of the Republic in Star Wars. Within the Republic the Jedi exist a sect of religous warriors. They are stronger than normal humans. They decide whether to help you in wars and you can only ask them for help not order. Every so often they start a religous war with the Sith that you get dragged into.

So would it be reasonable to wipe out the Jedi if your the PM of the Republic?

A-No. Who are you going to get to wipe them out if they are stronger than normal humans? Duh.
B-No. Because then you'd likely lose any future wars, especially if the other side employed the Sith

Your only option is to ally with the Sith - who the Jedi never started wars with, religious or otherwise, BTW - and wipe out the Jedi.
Then I hope the Sith buttrape YOU with their double ended doohickies for concocting vicious plots when there was nothing wrong with the status quo.

Ah I see it now. Its a christian america vs moslem arabs thing.
I recommend you wipe out the christians, especially the catholics.
Then most likely the moslems will just go back to their sand-farming.

Do they always start a war with the Sith, or is it the other way round. Is this an Israel/Palestine analogy with the Republic being the USA. I'd do what Varegg said, go Nazi and kill them both. That way there is peace.

Same goes for Israel and Palestine.

Nah but really, in Star Wars. Aren't the Jedi supposed to be super good and the Sith super evil. Everything in Star Wars seems to be black and white. So the easy decision would be to ally with the Jedi, destroy the Sith, then live in relative peace.

Also as PM of the Republic, stop starting wars that require Jedi assistance, then you won't need them as much, duh.

According to the Jedi, we've never really seen the Sith's side of the story.
Since it was 'A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away' you can bet the 'winner writes the history' effect is significant.

I'd only do that if there were profit to be made. Say making the Sith pay you huge amounts to fight the Jedi or vice versa.

Because the Republic needs it's tax dollars.
