Well, I looked around for a few minutes and couldn't find anything. Would anybody have any idea why an Audigy 2 ZS's microphone volume would mute itself whenever a new match or server begins to load? I can alt-tab and fix it in volume control, but that is rather irritating.
Are you using the creative software? I recall someone else having a similar problem with their mic getting muted in the sound properties, personally I have my mic muted all the time and it unmutes when I press my 'press to talk' key. Let me search the forums and see if that other guy ever found a solution...

After reading the thread, I'll say that I've tried the original (CD) Creative drivers, and some new downloaded ones. I use a big-puffy headphones/mic setup, and +20 gain is always on. When it mutes, I can't even hear anything through my headphones that is picked up by the mic. I suppose this is just EA's problem, since it's happening to other people as well. Thanks for the thread link, though.

i'm having the same problem as well, i always end up pressing ctrl,alt,delete 2 the desktop and unmute my mic.
