Also, by you saying I made a living from war because I worked on airplanes in the military, is there any other way anyone could take that other than being an insult to all militart personel engaged in combat right now??

no it wasn't an attack, it was an observation........like I said you "abhor" violence yet you show no sympathy or support toward those that are in a struggle to bring REAL peace to the region. You exploit every little negative thing that comes out of the region as an "i told you so", as if your views are vindictated. You do not speak of any positive news from the region. You have no clue that the views you hold completely undermine the effort put forth by those that are there trying to do some good.

Which is all the more reason I am determined to represent my views.  You see, I don't care or expect everyone to agree with me, but (like you) that won't stop me holding them.  Still, the law is on my side in this case, and they are facing charges for their crimes.  So I guess the UK Military doesn't share your views.

This video is not abusing so called "human rights". This is merely controlling a hazardous riot and putting consequences into play. There's only 2 other options.. Let the kids riot and people will die.. Or take em' all back to the UK, trial each and every one of them and send them to jail..

Its seems to be in your post's that your right and everybody wrong and there is no middle ground, it's just black and white.

Thing is in the forums you post in there is alot of grey area, you are not always right, but that said some of the other people's post's are not right also.

Just try and be a little more open to other peoples opinions, then maybe people would be more open to yours.

A debate is saying your opinions and listenning to other's with an open mind.

I have read alot of your post's and you seem to come across as a well Educated person, with well thought out Responses and ideas and I have enjoyed reading them.

This is funny.  People are complaining that the brits took the time to beat these kids on the asses to, I assume, teach them a lesson while the armored convoys light up anyone who even remotely looks aggressive.  Ask the guys coming back from there.  The marching orders are broad enough that any perception of hostility shall be met with deadly force.  If those kids where doing something which constituted that action they should of been shot.  Damn Brits where doing them a favor by sparing thier lives.

And, personally, I hope that someday that's not what the world is like. Soldiers who "light up" civilians that look aggresive? Soldiers will abuse that, and kill civilians that talked back or gave them a dirty look. Later, the soldier will say, "He was being aggresive". Maybe you were unaware of the fact that 34,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. This "Shoot at aggresive looks" guideline is not helping the body count.

Well man, all i can say to that is go over there and walk a mile in our boys shoes and see what you think then.  Its a kill or be killed enviroment (maybe not so much anymore but tension still high).  Also, if you haven't noticed more iraqi civilians are being killed by the insurgent forces that by us.

I will tell you this though, if it was me on a mounted 50 cal and I had any doubt what so ever that the car we where passing was not on the level I would light it up.  Not because I enjoy killing, because I don't want to die myself or my fellow marines/soilders.
