Washed out again, what a shock.  Funny to see all the officials complaining about how they could have easily played on the soggy pitch, I dont see why an indoor ground similar to our Etihad Stadium isnt built for this kind of stuff...

I'm kinda glad that the two T20's were rained out as damn SBS isn't showing it and i wouldn't have been able to watch it. Sorry for those who could though.

At least we have the ODI on friday to watch.

The Afghans beat Holland yesterday, have a look at sky sports for the card, makes interesting reading, one of their boys hit 110+.  Holland aint no mugs so good on them, maybe a force in asain cricket in years to come?  Did I read The Paki's have cut all ties with the ICC?

I didnt even know the Afghans had a team, but any new team to cricket is a plus in my books.  As far as Pakistan is concerned, I don't really care.  Following their walk off effort in 2006 at Lords and their massively biased treatment of Shoaib Aktar and his drug use, I'd be happy if they did leave.

Didnt know in 06 it was their bat and their ball?  So they could do as they wanted to.

The one where Darrell Hair and Billy Doctrove penalised them for ball tampering and gave England 5 runs, then when the 3rd session began the Pakistanis refused to come out so they were adjudged to have forfeited.

I was watching it live on the TV mate, I ment as in they wanted their own rules.  They did ball tamper, Inzaman tried eating the fucking thing.

Australia 3-0 up after 3 games.

And if what I saw last night is the standard of play, then I'm glad I mist the first 2 games cause that shit was boring. All I can say is we need Gilchrist back, him in crutches would have been better then all the Australian batsmen last night.

I thought the Aussies batted well.  I didnt see England innings and and didnt catch all of Australia's as highlights started at 12ish.  Clarke got 50 in 100 balls or so, and White smacked it around.  Clarke was grinning like a cheshire cat when he was being interviewd after.  Within the rules it dont matter how you win.  He played the perfect support role. Strayer won so it dosent matter when he scored off how many, he helped chase the runs down.  Well played imo.

Englands fielding needs to improve sumwhat, cant comment too much on the bowling or batting, but sometimes fielding is all you need to win if you get it right.

I was as much impressed with Cameron White (is it) as I was with Clarke.  I wouldnt be too downhearted with the way they batted if you won, Clarke wouldnt bat like that Im sure if Strayer were batting first.  An excellent skipper ready to take over when needed I think.

Good to see Lee have an awesome game, I've missed his speed.  He was my inspiration to change to pace bowling rather than spin back in the day

He was good in the 1st. Why he was dropped...

'Cos they wanted an extra batsman instead of an allrounder.

Whose betting on a 7-0 whitewash?  (Which means fuck all because we lost the Ashes!)
