Georgia police have arrested the man who called 911 Saturday morning after finding seven people brutally murdered and two critically injured in a trailer park.

Guy Heinze Jr., 22, of Brunswick, Ga., was charged with drug possession and making false statements to police.

He has not been charged in the killings.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Seven people were found slain and two critically injured Saturday at a mobile home park built on the grounds of a historic plantation in southeastern Georgia, police said.

Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering called it the worst mass slaying in his 25 years of police work in this coastal Georgia county. He wouldn't say how the victims died.

"This is a record for us. We've never had such an incident with so many victims," Doering told reporters. "It's not a scene that I would want anybody to see."

Later in the article:

"I really don't know the ages," Doering said. "There were some older-aged victims and we believe there were some in their teens."

This makes me think that identifying the bodies was rather difficult, ie severe dismemberment

Probably a drug related relationship gone bad. I hope this is the case. It would give me great plessure to know drug dealers and users have had their ranks shrunk by 7,and less chance of my money to be wasted on their worthless lives.

That's fairly sick man, even if they have done/did drugs.

Lisa Vizcaino, who has lived at New Hope for three years, said the management works hard to keep troublemakers out of the mobile home park and that it tends to be quiet.

"New Hope isn't rundown or trashy at all," Vizcaino said. "It's the kind of place where you can actually leave your keys in the car and not worry about anything."

Reading this particular statement makes me think this would not be drug related.

Investigators were talking to neighbors about whether they saw or heard anything unusual, but hadn't found any witnesses to the crime.

Which might mean potentially no struggle and that they were murdered in their sleep

Letting drug dealers and drug abousers off themselves is sick on my part? Sorry ya feel that way. I maintain it is the drug dealers and users that are sick, and not a problem of mine.
