I have no idea what is going on, I've launch BF2 thru Xfire in the past and worked great, after patching the game, xfire launches the game but no servers are showing in the multiplayer list. I launched the game without xfire and samething; now if I want to play online I have to click on "play now" because there is no server to select from.
unselect same version... hit the update server option. and then enter a game. next time you can reselect same version and everything should be fine.
