I'm not surprised someone is trying a public relations spin. Obama's threat will be taken both ways 1) omg we gonna be holocausted and 2) omg we better change in some way (diplomacy or change our ways).

My money is on the Arabs doing something stupid and the Obama backing Israel.

The British sell them weapons (to the tune of £25 million last year). Though that might well be about to change. There is currently a partial embargo in place and a judicial review under way which may completely ban all British arms sales to Israel (or any other country where they may be used to commit war crimes - the two specifically mentioned were Israel and Sri Lanka).
