Hasn't rained here since bout arf 10, fucking pissed down then. Its moving East so if its been dry here since then in theory along the M4 it should stay dry. I know Monmouth aint quite along there but you know what I mean.Uzique wrote:

Just over the border, really. I say Monmouth because it's the border-town in the Wye Valley, innit? Go there quite a lot.

The Cider is good I know that much. I reckon your weather will be ok soon'ish.
The cider here in Gloucestershire and the perry north of here in Herefordshire/Worcestershire is really nice, yeah.
And Cheltenham and the Cotswolds beyond are definitely some of my favourite 'quintessential' English places, good that you're familiar with it .
@Burnz: Nah, I went to sleep about 5am but was up at 10am'ish to get my Ray-Bans in the post. Look back a page or two - worth the sleep deprivation!

uzique didnt you go to africa or something
Yeah, I settled on the (Grade 2 lens) gradients, they seem to suit the cloudy and overcast English weather more. The near-opaque green 'classic' Wayfarers are way too Hollywood / A-List celebrity for me to carry off in this modest English climate and setting! Haha, I'm impressed with them, amazing quality- handmade in Italy as all the newer Ray-Bans are. Nice to have a new toy.burnzz wrote:

And yeah, '27. Aren't you from Barry? I've been there quite a few times to skate, there used to be a massive rollerblading scene there. One of the UK's best was born and bred in Barry... and also died in Barry too in a skating-accident. Richard Taylor I think his name was, don't know if the name or family rings a bell. Have also been to Barry as a child with my grandparents to visit the beach and fair and whatnot - nostalgia!
@Swinub: No, I went to Ibiza for a week around the Ibiza Rocks festival, short-notice, with 2 good mates of mine. Was a nice escape. I'm at the family home(s) now, still avoiding the drama and unrest in London with the (ex) missus. Going to be an interesting few months!

My neice and nephew knew Rich very well I have heard nothing but the very best about him, I knew the spot he died and his house etc, just didnt know him.
Yeah Im Barry born but not so much Barry bred. Lived in Wokingham and Basingstoke aswell.
The place you would of gone to is called 'The Knapp' or Cold Knapp' as its almost on the pebbley beach. The place is full of nutters and idiots, I just quietly blend in the background with them.

Hahaha.
Small world Have skated with Rich and went down to Barry for the big beach-fire and BBQ that was done in respect and memory of him- loads of people turned up for that, we went down with a carfull and had a good time. Cardiff/Newport I'm pretty familiar with as well... although sometimes I wish I wasn't, haha.
