This is my retarded image, but I'm sure you get the idea?
I suppose you could buy three of these:
No cause I need to switch the audio. I dont want to get a load of random noise.
They do exist.

I'm pretty sure you want one of those. Also think about getting one of those home theatre systems as they usually come with a box like that to control the speakers etc...

Problem with those is the lack of 5.1Mekstizzle wrote:

The three leads he's picturing are for Front Speakers/Rear Speakers/Sub-Center.
Yeah I was just giving an example of what he's talking about, not an actual option for him.TheDonkey wrote:

I tried some searching around, all other threads on the topic linked to either pro-grade hardware that costs $100+ or dead links.
£40 for that?!!? That thing has £10 worth of parts in it!
I would build my own, it just takes a soldering iron, a 6-channel switch and some jacks.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Well done Freezer, you've arrived at something everyone else has known for years. Stuff generally costs a lot more than the sum of its parts.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Yes, but that abomination is in the extreme segment.ghettoperson wrote:

To daffy: why not just plug/unplug? or turn one off when the other's running?
I like pie.
too lazy to change by hand?daffytag wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Not mines. .Sup, I'll wager that your setup is far more "advanced" than the typical BF2s user... In my case, optical to the receiver, yes, but not to the speakers..Sup wrote:

No, I was assuming he has PC speakers that why I asked if they are digital like all in one setup (amp+DAC+speakers)Ilocano wrote:
