Your country rocks!
I had 2 weeks on the road for work and covered some awesome country side.
We flew into LAX, then thru Dallas for Norfolk, where we met up with 2 Royal Australian Navy (RAN) warships and conducted demo's of our command and control system to the USN, which went really well.
From Norfolk, we drove to Nashville, via Roanoke for a night out. OMG Nashville rocks! I'm not a huge fan of Country but man I had a good night on the main strip. ;-)
We left Nashville, still driving, and headed for St. Louis where we had meetings regarding the Super Hornets that the Aussies have bought.
We then flew to San Diego and based ourselves there for 3 days, though we did go up to LA for some meetings too.
Then on Friday we flew from SD up to LAX and then home to Canberra, via Sydney.
In all, I love Australia and was glad to be home but man I had fun in the US.
Kudos to my American friends!
