DC really isn't that bad anymore. In the city proper, a lot of areas have been gentrified (read: fixed) so they're safe to walk in, at least till around midnight or 1AM. Even Southeast and the infamous Anacostia neighborhood have slowly started improving. As for the metro DC area, almost all of it is fine. Parts of PG county still suck, but pretty much all of Montgomery County is safe and Northern Virginia's wonderful.CameronPoe wrote:
