Regulate, don't operate.
Unfortunately, certain types on the right have taken this to mean "do absolutely nothing".

I don't know about less educated but they did vote bush in twice.

That says a lot.
62 million voted Bush, 59 million voted Kerry.  Not sure that people stick with one party, but I guess that means that the majority is less educated?

Tells you a lot about the other guy running doesn't it?

ps. I only voted for Bush once.

Actually, this proves dems are less educated.  Only one in that list was President.

Only one went to an Ivy League school (two of them)...also the only one with an MBA.

I suppose the response to that is "hey at least we don't elect our idiots as president".

Meh, whatever.

Popularity and being educated don't necessarily correlate.  In many cases regarding elections, the opposite is actually true.

Nixon was quite intelligent and educated, but his lack of charisma compared to Kennedy cost him the election.

Gore is intelligent and educated, but he lost to Bush due to the same thing.

McCain is intelligent and educated....   and so on.

The point is, getting elected is generally more a measure of charisma than of anything else.
