I really hope that this game's AI works out as promisied by the devs. I was majorly dissapointed by Ubi Montreal and FC2, whos AI looked great in the Alpha stages such as guys eating lunch at 12:00 or some sleeping and some patrolling at 01:00).

But the AI looks great in this video
And its approx. 2 months untill release

Now, all that I need is confirmation of a console editor that will come in the form of a free update a month or two after release and I will be over the moon

I'm hoping it has you play as a specific or several characters like OFP1, rather than a number of nameless guys like in ArmA1.

Got the Z-10 as it looks irl as well, where BF2's was based on the A129.

But hardcore mode is going to be edge of the seat stuff, particularly in a firefight.

If you guys would visit the Codemasters forums once every day or two you might actually understand what's going on.

A lot of the problems you are complaining about is being raged at Codemasters on their forums and the lead designer has already stated these issues are written down and on the list for being fixed/improved.

Also note there are quite a few differences between the console and PC version of this game.

Hope this will be out around September or October but if it were to be released later I'm sure it will have been well worth the wait.

I go on every day to check for new screenshots or updates on the game. The two big differences between the console and PC versions are the graphics and the editor.

There is no confirmed release date. It is stated as being released in Fall. I think it will be released in September.

Doesnt really matter what is on Amazon, or any other similar sites for that matter. Back in April, they were saying that OFP would come on 29th May.
The only thing that matters is the word from the devs, and they say it is around Fall 09 but an exact release date is TBC.

Hopefully they got rid or reduced the gun bounce when you are walking...it was quite ridiculous.

One thing I absolutely love is that the weapons in the game actually sound beefy and not like popguns ala COD4.
