After reading some of the posts in this thread - (Some, not all) - I have to say that I demand something along the lines of PunkBuster to kick idiots like this OUT of the game.

I suggest we call it "TardBuster".

In one game, a commander was constantly spamming 'enemy spotted' all over the map (not using UAV's at all) in the obvious belief he got extra points for doing so.
Most of the team were asking him (reasonably politely!) to shut up....so after 15 minutes of this, and a developing headache, I shot him and told him why. 15 seconds later...off he goes again. So I found him again and shot him...he then quietened down for the rest of the round.
That has got to be the DUMDEST reason to TK someone. A good commander will spot enemys the entire round. If you have a good commander he will spot the enemy which puts it on your teams map giving your team the enemys position and direction to boot. Every time that scan button comes up and I am the commander I spot the hell out of the enemys, all you hear is enemy infantry spotted, enemy APC spotted etc... over and over, but look at your friggin map idiot.

Back on topic: I was on Warlord and cruising back to the SAS main base in the M1 abrams to kill a Insurgent Spec Ops that was going to take out our asstes when this chump turns the corner out of the SAS main base driving a ATV right into my tank and he blows up then of course he punishes me and he was also typing not so nice things. Now how the hell are you going to run into me then punish me for it. Anyway I just waited to see if he was going to spawn there, which he did and I TKed him (felt good). Then the prick types "keep it up!" At this point I am thinking to myself you got it BUDDY and I proceeded to follow him and do everything I could do to get him to TK me and finally he got kicked all together. I am one of the first people that will play as a member of a team and have a great time playing the game with people that like to work as a team  as well, but don't run into me, kill yourself then get a attitude with me about it!?!?!?

More wins could be had if people would use the spot feature..  I hate when theres people stnading around while tanks and APCs ikill everyone, not a single person spots them.  If they would spot them maybe an antitank guy could spawn or come to assist..

instead they prefer to die 8 times.

I too have TK'd.  Only for people that are being complete game ruiners.   Like those that steal your vehicle when you get out to repair.  Those that sit on the chopper pad 24/7 waiting for it and spawning and taking it over and over the whole map..

Ive sniped my own men out of choppers just so someone else on the team could get in.

chopper whoring is not fun for either team.  and the game isnt about winning.  its about playing fair and having FUN!

The TKs i hate are of course idiots that get ran over by vehicles.   I hardly ever punish a TK, never if im ran over by a vehicle.     Your choice to stand behind a tank, deal with it.

I do have to admit that I used to be a complete noob, I was just a complete ass and normally ended with like -20 team points.  But one day there was like a clan of 3 guys, they would all gang up on the person "trying to steal THEIR jet."  I got so pissed at them and noticed how much I pissed other people off I decided to stop my noobom.  Also if you look at my stats you can look at my TKs im really ashamed.  Now I stil am a jet whore but my TKs are from other noobs blocking me...

I've made several TK's.  Most were accidental.  Not out of mallace.  I did TK yesterday on Warlord.  I was taking a flag alone.  I had managed to sneak dangerously close to an enemy claymore without setting it off.  Then I see someone coming to help take the flag.  I repeated NO over and over but he still came.  If he came close the claymore would go off, thus killing us both.  So out of neccessity I popped him in the head.  Had to do it, got punished, didn't care.

My buddy and I were SAS on Ghost Town, and we were tearing it up in the chopper.  Our chopper gets destroyed, and we both spawn at the north tower to wait for it.  We then find our commander on the helipad waiting to get in.  I type twice "if u r going to command, then command, don't fly", but he ignores me and promptly gets in the pilot's postition when the chopper spawns.  My buddy was playing as sniper with the M95, and promptly sniped him from the chopper.  Again, to all commanders,  "IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMMAND, THEN COMMAND.  DON'T BE ON THE FIELD TRYING TO TURN FLAGS, DON'T BE SITTING IN THE ONLY ARMOR AVAILABLE TO YOUR TEAM, AND DEFINITELY DO NOT FLY CHOPPERS OR PLANES."

The only time I've intentionally TK'd someone is when a team-mate flipped out and went on a TKing frenzy.  We were on Wake, and our team wasn't doing so good.  The other side were obviously organised, and had lots of clan-mates working together.  Our side didn't, we had one squad of five, and the rest of the US team was lone-wolfing.

When I'm in a squad, I try to follow the orders, hoping the commander knows what he's doing.  We weren't getting any orders....  So, we ran around as a squad, and while the army as a whole was sucking, we were doing okay as a squad.  But one of our members kept bitching about how the squad sucked.

We'd managed to capture the North flag, when suddenly I get killed by the tank.  I figure it's a Chinese guy who's sneaked up on us, but it's a teamkill.  So, I assume it's accidental, and respawn.  But then I see the listing, teamkill after teamkill.  I respawn again, and get killed again.  While dead, I complain to admin, then when I respawn the bastard's still sitting there, mowing down his own side and I get behind him and C4 the bejeezus out of him.  He quit the server :]

My worst TK (accidental) was again on Wake.  I spawned on the Essex, and all the aircraft were full and leaving.  I run to an AA to cover against any incoming Chinese jets, and sure enough one comes in for a hit against us.  I get 'tone' and cut loose with a volley of four missiles.  The first two seem to vaporise the jet, and I smile.  Good job.  Then, my screen fills up with a list of MrE158[Teamkills]....

My remaining missiles had shot onwards and obliterated a full Blackhawk.  I typed in an apology to everyone, and swore to keep away from the AA.  Luckily I didn't get booted or anything, but I still started the round with a -36 (or something like that) for my teamscore.  Took a bit of work to get my score back in the black after that...

The only player I intentionally TK'd deserved it every bit, and I'd never apologize for it.  I was on a server favorite that didn't have any TK punish.  Unfortunately, this player, probably known in many, many circles decides that it'd be fun, night after night on this server, to TK his teammates, revive, TK again, revive, TK, revive... etc., etc.  Well, he did it one night to me, and I couldn't get away until he had done it like 10 times.  When I did get away, I jumped into an APC, and hightailed it out of there in order to kill enemies, and get away from this nuisance.  A couple minutes later, I'm still in the APC and I see this player doing the same thing to another teammate.  So, what did I do?  TK'd him so that the other guy could get up.  In the end, I did it probably about another four more times to save teammates from this parasite.

Funny thing was that the last time I ever saw this constant nuisance, he was on the other team, and had started TK'ing his own commander.  His commander typed out to everyone on the server to kill this guy.  Well, myself, and my squad went over to the enemy main base, and killed this guy probably about 20-30 times without this TK'r's teammates lifting a finger to help him in their own base.  He finally disconnected from the server.

This player's name?

Had another TK the other night.  Playing Ghost Town as Spetz, and it was a smaller map, so no tanks, only 1 APC per side.  I spawn at our main base and find the commander sitting in the apc at the edge of the road leading out of the base.  Meanwhile, 5 minutes into the game, we are already down by over 50+ tickets.  I asked 3 times for the commander to give up the only armor available to us, but he just ignored me.  I couldn't help myself, I walked over to the TOW and fired a missile into the back of the APC.  It obviously didn't get his attention, because he still just sat there.  Once the TOW re-loaded, I let loose a second missile which destroyed him, and of course, he promptly punished me.  It was a punish that was well-deserved, and well earned for the satisfaction of killing this useless piece of crap who called himself a commander!

My only intentional TK was when in pre-game me and some clanmates were playing around, practicing TV missling (ATA and ATG) and where we had 3 helis on the carrier and this guy would not get out of mine. We needed it because it was Mi-28 and the others were AH-17, so I didn't have the option of getting another one.

My clanmate says on TS: "Def, don't worry about it we're at MEC main getting another Mi-28"
And I say: "Well, if we have another one can I fuck this guy up for not getting out when I calmly asked him to, with a reason?"
And in lucky sinchrosity: "Sure" they all said.

So I tell the guy over VOIP I'm going to go up and do some stunts, and my clan is getting another chopper. I go up to three hundred feet, do some backflips and barrel rolls. I then see I'm at 100 ft just in front of the carrier so I'm thinking...hehe It's time, which I relay to my clanmates on TS.

They arrive with the Mi-28 and start watching. I then go backwards keeping the nose up to block the view of the gunner and go into a backflip. Mid way through, I parachute out and he continues going crashing into the water.

He comes back saying, "That was not cool"

And I tell him he should've gotten out.

@TrueArchon: Yes, DoNotTk is a dick who enjoys doing that. Him along with NoobMurderer are some of the best known around BF2s.

A teammate called me a noob because I ran over his mine he had planted not 5 feet from the rear of my tank. I forgavew him but he insisted on calling me a noob. So he gets the tank later on and I plant 1 c4 on his backside and hopped in gunner seat, so when he got into action with another tank, I hopped out and blew the charge in time to see the enmy tank finish him off. Cant punish me for TK if I didnt give the final blow. Was worth it though because of the crude amount of garbage he was spouting off. Heh he was a captain too

Yes but I didnt get the tk, I end up getting enough points to negate the team vehicle damage in most cases plus the affect on my score doesnt bother me.

Yeah, you know you're infamous for tk'ing when the opposite team is able to singlehandedly enter your main base, hunt you down mercilessly, and your team barely lifts a finger to help (and then, only because they're instictively shooting at enemies and are clueless to the situation).  On top of that, it got to the point where he would just barely connect and a kick vote would commence with staggering results.

Almost makes a legitimate player wish that there was a DoNotTK/NoobMurderer hack that popped up their names and location on your minimap, and field of view, so that they can mercilessly be hunted down.  :sigh:  A shame....

Too bad this player's gaining attention for being a bastard, while others are doing phenominal jobs working towards the goals of the team without notice.

P.S.  OH!  EVEN BETTER!  EA should make it official by having a "Most Wanted List" where after a certain amount of TKs, in a certain amount of time, maybe with a certain number of kicks and bans, a player becomes the focus of "SEARCH THE SPIDERHOLES!"  Thereafter, everyone sees that player as an enemy, no matter what team they are on, and everyone is immune to getting a TK against that player.  All the while, the "most wanted's" deaths don't register against either side's ticket totals!  Call it "Court Martial", "Dishonorably Discharged", or whatever!  Well, daydream is over....

It doesn't go without notice.  If you did a phenominal job you'll see your name either under gold, silver, or bronze... and probably several times on the next screen (best of?) too.

That said I think everyone's got their own idea of TKing.  If I get TKed and instantly hear "sorry, I screwed up" or see a "sorry" written across the screen I don't punish.  Usually first time I'm TKed by anyone I don't punish (sorry or not).  It's the second time when I worry about it.  It's the same "do un to others belief".  I've had more than enough accidental TKs that I'm pissed when I get punished for them.  Even more pissed when I get "kicked" for them.  Anyone else get "team damage" when blowing enemy artillery?  It's happened a few times to me since this new patch.
That said, the guy who TKed his commander for "spotting" enemies reminded me of when I was a noob commander and would spot enemies before my scan was finished.    I had a few people pissed at me, but no TKs from it.  Oh... even worse, there were times when I couldn't get into or out of the commander window, and I would have to resign... still not sure what that was about.  Hasn't happened in a long time.

i actually have made something like 300 intentional TKs.
but it was just cuz i was friggin bored then i went to singleplayer and racked up a score like -370.
Other then that i team killed a commander who was sitting in a TOW just to get time in ground defense. (probably a colonel needing expert awards)

I hane no idea what was going on today. I was commander at Warlord and I was down by the Construction site, in the very back, and this guy kept TKing me... I have no idea. Then I backchecked the requst log..nothing. The first time  forgave him, as I always forgive the first time, and then he did it about 3 more times and got kicked from the server.

I wish, that would make this game even more fun!
anywho, my last int. tk.... pre-game sharqi, flying  around with the cobra. some dip shit jumps into the gunners seat and imediatly starts spouting, "LET ME FLY LET ME FLY!" I'm thinking, pre-game, no bigie, so I tell him we can take turns piloting. he agrees. so I crash, his turn. I jump into the gunners seat, sit back and wait to kill some unsuspcting soul. noobboy promptly crashes after wobbley flight. no biggie. so I re-spawn, he tks me and jumps into the pilot seat takes off and promptly crashes again. so I switch to the m95 and hide out of site till he helos up again, and while he's spooling up I put a round in his head.  (no punish b/c pre-game). i then jump into the pilots seat, spin the helo to face him as he comes around the corner, and jumped into the gunners seat. proceeded to maul him til the game starts, (35, 40 times). not once does he spawn somewhere else, or try to be sneaky with a AT rocket. then the game starts... dipshit promply joins my squad and tks me, being the round started I leave it be, we had our fun, now its time to play the game. he tks me again and again and gets warned by admin. he cries that I tk'ed him with the helo pre-game, and he's justified. the admin told him that was pre game and no points/flags/kills accrued no biggie. noobie goes and finds tha admin and starts tking him... bye bye and BAN! I love shit like that.

I never let pregame tk's bother me.  I'll TK my friends pregame for fun when there is nothing exciting going on.  We are usually just knife fighting on an infrantry map, or Dogfighting on a jet map.  Once the round starts, if I TK someone, 99.9% of the time it is an accident.

I TKed more than one intentionally. All in BF2 Vanilla.

I was with a very good pilot on Kubra Dam. We were a very good team. He lined up the shots for me and on missile lock I told him via squadchat if it's jet or aa and when we've lost our chaser.
But even good pilots crash sometimes. So we went back to the bomber spawn. There was this guy waiting the whole round for the plane (I saw him standing there on rearm). So I walked up right behind him and knifed him.
I earned gold, pilot earned silver. Maybe that guy was a better pilot or copilot than us but I was happy with my pilot and he was happy with my shooting. Sowhy should I let him split the team.
If i missunderstand your post I'm sorry but,  what type of people ruin the game for others?????
You deserve a punish for that, infact you should be kicked from server.
You admit Tk for a plane???
