It's a bit of sarcasm aimed toward all those here who think the US should embrace socialism (fully realizing socialism and communism are not one in the same).
That's the sad truth. Socialism is excellent in theory, but the human will abuse it.

The only way to solve those problems is to give out everything for free and put robots to do the shit we don't want to do.

As long as money will exist, the world will be shite.
Money isn't the problem. The problem is when economic/political models ignore human nature (like socialism/communism). Humans may be social animals, but the predominant instinct is self-preservation.
It may not be the original issue, but it sure does help getting it worse.

If there was no money and everything was free there would not be greed, as everyone would have everything.

Get my point?

I would.  I fucking work 50hrs a week to give money to bankers and the government.  No savings, no retirement, just debt.  Will work till I die broken and in debt.  Thank god for beer.

You're ignoring basic human nature (the failing of socialism, as I said before). If there's no money, there would be something else of value to society and man would strive to accumulate it. There will always be greed so long as there are humans.

I'm not ignoring it, I just said that money doesn't help the issue.

Though I see your point. But what that thing that everyone wanted was space exploration instead of money? See where I'm going?

Makes me rage!

In the eyes of someone used to the current social system it is hard to imagine such a thing. But it is feasible. Alot of shit is made by machines today. One day they will be advanced enough to sustain us and really be "free". A good example of this is wind / solar energy. It is free, unlimited and clean. Why aren't we harnessing its power as much as oil?

See where I'm going?

I see perfectly what you're trying to say...and if man had a different nature, it would be great.

who would make the robots? why should they make them? who would maintain them? why should they maintain them?

communism is a fantastic idea in principle, if it wasn't for human nature.
